Creating an e-mail marketing campaign that really works is a complex task which involves a number of different skills – marketing, design, technical to name but a few. You will also need to manage the mailing selection and remove unsubscribes and hard bounces from your database – a critical piece in the e-mail marketing puzzle.
GI Insight provides a managed service covering every aspect of your e-mail campaign from conception to execution. Our service ranges across creative assistance to comprehensive reporting, including the design of the mailing selection, HTML creation, campaign execution, reporting and management of unsubscribes and ‘bounces’.
With GI Insight, you're not restricted to simple personalisation. Level one
Standard e-mail - the most basic of e-mail campaigns with standard links/images/text message to each customer.
Level two
Microsite e-mail - the e-mail links to a voucher/questionnaire microsite where the customer’s data has is captured, stored and exported back to the database.
Level three
Dynamic e-mail - this is the highest level of complexity within e-mail campaign creation. Within a single e-mail template, there are different combinations of text/links/images that a customer can receive depending on their segmentation/customer profile. This level is seen to optimise the e-mail to each customer’s specific preferences and improve response rates.

- Creative Services
- HTML template creation – our dedicated e-mail marketing team will work with you to create a HTML template for your campaign and bring your ideas to life. Our specialists are experienced in creating templates and can work to the most demanding brand guidelines
- List management
- Our specialists can help you make sense of the options available and source a list for your campaign
- Full e-mail campaign management
- HTML validation – we check the links are set-up correctly and the most common e-mail providers will display the text and images in the correct place. We also run checks to ensure that the e-mail will get through spam filters
- Campaign execution – HTML and data is uploaded to the system and the logic is written to link data and creative together and set-up the procedures for proofing and release
- Comprehensive testing – a sample e-mail is sent to ensure that the creative and logic work. We will also test alternative subject lines, creative concepts and offers on different segments of your database if required
- Commissioning - once approval has been received the campaign can be released. Alternatively, it can be released at a pre-agreed time
- Reporting
- A detailed report on the e-mail campaign broken down by open/click rates, link rankings, segment activity coupled with recommendations for the next campaign / selection is supplied
- Microsites
- GI Insight is experienced at creating microsites to drive traffic online to capture additional lifestyle information for future campaigns
