Welcome from Paul Thomas
Paul is the Managing Director of GI Solutions – a team of highly professional people based in the UK and China.
Paul worked with Graphic Inline (GI Direct) from its first days, loading and dispatching the first web and inline equipment from Scotland. He mechanically designed many inline products to be used by what were then the business’s largest accounts including Littlewoods Mail Order and the Consumer’s Association (Which?).
In 1993 Paul became the Operations Director for Graphic Inline re-organising manufacturing and introducing the Total Productive Maintenance Initiative. Paul was also responsible for the company’s progression in both Environmental and Quality standards including ISO 14001, Carbon Neutral and the Quality standard ISO 9001:2000.
Paul also spearheaded the company’s first drive into supplying Africa and the Far-East with high security products, vetting and developing relationships at the highest level with suppliers.
Since setting up GI Solutions in 2003 the company has grown and now supplies the UK, USA, Africa and the Far East with high quality, innovative product ranges.
