Andy Wood - Managing Director
Andy co-founded GI Insight in April 2000. He has over 18 years in the field of data marketing and has created & managed more retail loyalty programmes than anyone in the UK. His particular skills lie in the analysis of data and its application to improving customer communication, turnover and ultimately profit.
During his career Andy has written a number of papers and articles that have been published in the marketing press and research publications. He has also lectured at several seminars on loyalty & analysis including the CIM diploma, IDM Diploma, DMA seminars and the Institute of Directors.
Alison Parsons – Head of Client Services and Analytics
Ali spent 5 years at Experian learning about Data Direct Marketing through various roles before leaving to gain wider industry experience at Equifax Direct Marketing. After spending many years enjoyed specialising in data, Ali joined Vertis where she used her love of data and Account Management skills for delivering Direct Mail services for many blue chips clients. Ali has spent the last 5 years at Boots. Her role as Direct Mail Marketing Manager allowed her to bring together her experience and expertise on one of the UK’s foremost loyalty programmes allowing her to bring data lead decision making to Advantage Card.
Andy Jackson - Database & Development Manager
Andy joined GI Insight in February 2002 after spending several years with CACI. He is responsible for the development, maintenance and operation of all client databases and systems, and is particularly interested in bringing new technology to marketing. Andy has over 20 years experience in IT within various industry sectors. His hobbies include sailing, powerboating & skiing.
