What is ISO 27001?
ISO 27001 is an internationally recognised standard that provides guidance on designing, implementing and auditing Information Security Management Systems that protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information content, systems and processes on which we depend. The standard required for the qualification is maintained by on-site assessment, carried out by an UKAS registered external third party.
Why did we adopt this standard?
GI Solutions Group adopted this standard so that it could formulate security requirements and objectives, could ensure that security risks are cost-effectively managed and could ensure compliance with laws and regulations. ISO 27001 certification also demonstrates to our customers our commitment to high levels of information security in this age of increased information security breaches.
