Quality and Environmental Standards

Quality and environmental accreditations may not be the primary reason for selecting GI Solutions Group, but we believe it to be important to our clients, ourselves, our industry and the societies affected by our business that we strive to adhere to such standards.

Our accreditations divide into two key types – quality and environmental. Most prominent and relevant amongst those accreditations are: ISO 9001; ISO 27001; DMA Membership; ISO 14001; Carbon Neutral; and Forest Stewardship.

ISO 9001

iso9001.jpgAn internationally recognised qualification that is a guarantee of the effectiveness of GI Direct.  It is proof that we strive for continual improvement in all areas, particularly customer satisfaction.  Clients can therefore be assured of a continuous effort to improve.

ISO 14001

                                                      policies and relevant
                                                      environmental laws and
                                                      regulations.

ISO 18001

                                                      visitors.

ISO 27001

                                                      by an external third party.

DMA Membership

DMA.jpgGI Solutions Group is a member of the DMA, an industry body which promotes best practice and raises standards within the Direct Marketing (DM) industry.  All members must abide by a code of practice, which is upheld by the DM Authority.  Our membership of the DMA offers assurance to clients that we are committed to a high standard of service and conformance to legal and other requirements.

Carbon Neutral

The Carbon Neutral Company works with clients to reduce carbon emissions and facilitate carbon off-setting.  This means that for every tonne of carbon that we cannot reduce, we pay for one to be reduced elsewhere in the world.  Therefore, carbon emissions are reduced both locally and on a global scale.  GI Direct’s Carbon Neutral accreditation works in conjunction with ISO 14001 and our FSC Accreditation to demonstrate our commitment to making a difference in terms of our global environmental impact.  Both our manufacturing division and our offices are completely offset, enabling us to offer our clients a completely carbon neutral mailing should they require it.

Forest Stewardship.

FSC.jpgGI Direct holds the Chain of Custody (COC) certification.  This demonstrates that our raw materials are sourced responsibly from FSC certified sources.  Products with this accreditation support the growth of responsible forest management, which in turn enables our clients to adhere to their own environmental policies.  Paper which has been certified by the FSC has been grown in managed forestry locations and is therefore from a sustainable source.  It also means that the paper was manufactured in an
                                                      environmentally sensitive manner.
