Data Health Check
GI Direct offers a free data health check service. After analysing the data and its quality, we can then provide you with a detailed report on any issues, cleansing the data if required.
What does the health check involve?
- Assessing address quality (this can include identifying data with missing postcodes and/ or postal towns.)
- Matching the file against PAF.
- Taking out any suppressions that are in the data.
- Identifying foreign records.
- Cleaning up any obscenities found in the names and addresses.
- Identifying empty name fields.
- Sortation. The report will show the class discounts that can be achieved by mailsorting, this can be as much as 35%.
- Searching telephone numbers to ensure they are not incomplete or invalid.
- For a female specific mailing it can check the quantity of male entries and vice versa.
